They have given no info other than it is the white team.... We only went to one tryout just to check it out. I am thinking this is something they send to everyone who tried out and see if they can fill up the c and d teams but don't know......

White team is the lowest bracket

            1st (NPL)
            2nd (ELITE)
            3rd (Blue)
            4th (White)

They call Blue/White East/West to avoid designating them as 3rd and 4th but that's what it really is.

The NPL and Elite teams are the "academy" teams and get the best trainers. The Blue/White teams are local travel, get the lower level trainers but you get to pay "academy" level registration fees. Basically, if you are on blue or white you are being taken advantage of as your registration fees are being used to subsidize the higher costs of the NPL/Elite teams.

Yeah, the blue and white teams are for kids they don't want for their good teams but don't want to say goodbye to the money.

This response is incorrect. The NYCSL NPL league requires clubs to send TWO U12 teams.
NPL Blue and NPL White. Technically they are expected to be on par with each other.

This is very special for NYCSL NPL U12 only (boys and girls). The reason being that U12 is the last year playing small-sided games (9v9) and usually clubs would merge two U12 NPL teams into a single NPL team when they grow to U13.

So if your invite says U12 NPL White - congrats, this is one of two top teams in the club.

Cheers and see you on the field the next year -

Is SUSA playing in NYCSL NPL or NE Girls NPL (mirrors ECNL clubs) next year?

The poster didn't say NPL white. The poster said White. And there is/will be a non-NPL white team. More to the point, the poster himself assumed it was a low level team meaning he doesn't think his daughter is premier quality.
