Which clubs give you the most for your money? ECNL, GDA, or clubs that play EDP NL ?? Best Training, Best fields, Best coaches, Best chance at playing in college? Do some of the higher priced clubs actually care about player development or is it about the dollar and bragging rights of winning some tournaments? Alot of money is being spent. What really works??

Why to many dependencies to make a definitive statement:
1) What is your goal? Your kids?
2) What resources do you have available to you?
3) What options are in your area?
4) What other interests do you have?

Clubs make their money on being able to show where their players went and getting everyone that wants to play in college into some college (divisions play themselves out during the development process). As someone noted, it's all family & player specific.

Penn Fusion can send their pre-academy kids to ECNL games then. Or should PA Classics try to get into ECNL? Thoughts?

Both leagues offer the same college exposure for players and GDA has the added benefit of playing year round at the HS ages. Consumers will realize the better value is GDA. HS soccer is already a bad product and its not getting any better. Chances are ECNL spins up a fall season in the near future to try and keep players. Today's 5th, 6th and 7th graders will decide the future of these leagues!

School sports allow kids to play on teams with players from a more diverse income demographic then any gda team. Gda and ecnl teams are 99 percent full of players from higher level income demographic. Another bubble experience for kids already living in bubbles.

Why stop with ECNL and GDA? What about the clubs who offer nothing in terms of exposure but can cost more than the ECNL and GDA clubs ?

Their pre academy teams can go ECNL and play competitive games as well.

As for HS soccer...
What good does it do an ECNL or GDA type player to play JV or get limited varsity time as a Frosh? Wouldn't that kid be better served in the club environment until they are ready to contribute meaningful minutes each and every game? Assuming its a good club environment and not a local glorified rec team.
