    Orlando City State Cup

How frustrating that the U-18 Orlando City didnt show up for either of its games for 2nd round part 2.They were an FSPL team this year. Both teams playing them had to travel from miami to only have them no show. We had hotel & travel expenses. No prior notification or at least nothing received from FYSA. What a disgrace. What is the fine for this?

The minimum fines for the following offenses shall be as follows:

      A. Failing to show for a scheduled match with no or less than a one week’s notification: $3,000 plus $1,000 paid to each team they were scheduled to play.

      B. Withdrawing from the competition with more than 1 week’s notification after completing a prior round of competition: $3,000.

      C. Withdrawing from the competition after the draw, with more than 1 week’s notification before the initiation of play: $2,000.

      D. Withdrawing from the competition within 2 weeks before the draw, will result in forfeiture of entry fee and bond, and a $1,000 fine.

      E. Withdrawing from the competition prior to 2 weeks before the draw but after entry deadline, will result in forfeiture of entry fee.

      F. Disqualification of the team by any means after initial eligibility verification shall result in a fine of $3,000 plus $1,000 paid to each team they were scheduled to play within one week’s time.

Forfeit score is automatically 4-0, same thing happened in the 17's in Miami with WFF-Pasco, supposed to be $5,000 fine. whether fysa follows through on it who knows, surprising to see from a club of OC's size

            ^^^that^^^

I wonder if the teams will actually get their $$$. We wasted alot of money in food & travel for a no show. The 1000.00 fine/team certainly wont cover our expenses.

Oh, how cute! You actually think that any club would give this money back to the parents? I bet you never see a nickel of this money....that is , if the fine is even levied.

It says nothing about the money going to the other club. It goes to FYSA!

Did you even read the posts above? Rule A (MINIMUM fine): $1,000 goes to each team the forfeiting team was scheduled to play.

What the hell are you talking about? I saw them play in Ft Myers both days albeit with only 10 players. Felt bad for those who showed.

The OP has everybody confused because he neglected to say whether he was talking about U18 boys or U18 girls. I had to look at the scores to figure out he meant boys. You are thinking girls.
