Well, I know of 1 not going to TBU. Mine. Amazing how this team stayed under the local radar all year, but with a little success, let's drag them into the dramatic "we hate you" posts.

The fast forward on WC should definitely tryout for ECNL. She would make it.

Enough. Leave this team alone. We are happy and doing well and now "you" are starting this garbage to put doubt in parents heads

You have already destroyed multiple teams in our area based on recruiting their players or coaches - to get their players - and promising girls spots on your ecnl teams when you know that you dont have enough roster positions for all of them.

OH MY GOD, IF WE LOSE MIA THE TEAM WILL FALL APART.....

You are the problem with youth sports. You do not care about the individual player. You are worried about the team, typical liberal. If that player is good enough to play with better players, why hold them back. Because you want your little Suzie to be on a non-loser team, and you can tell your water cooler mates how your kid's team is doing even though your kid sits the bench. I laugh at you!!!!! HAHAHAHHA!!!!

Let the kids play at their own level and not hold individuals back.

No...this is not to put doubt in the parent's heads. She has outgrown the club. She needs and deserves more. She is their best player, and it is not even her first sport. She is talented.

Nobody is talking about 1 or 2 top players leaving a team to play at a higher level or with an obviously superior coach. We are talking about the tbu tactic of tearing apart entire teams with false promises of ecnl. Take tbu u16 ecnl. Be honest. How many true openings will there be on that team. Maybe 2 or 3 starters. Let's say WFF u16s, WC u16s Clearwater's u15s come over. You destroy 3 top teams for a few players. But now tbu is the only game in town for top u16s. You just trashed the player pool. Why not work with local clubs to support your ecnl teams. Let the cream rise to the top. This is a sign of bad leadership and arrogance.

The problem with good teams at tiny clubs is that when one or a few top players decide to move on to greener pastures, the entire team falls apart.

You lose your best player or players, everyone panics.

She is their best player. The team will be fine. They have a good defense. Maybe they pick up a girl at tryouts similar to her size and speed. She needs to do what is best for her future.

have you ever though FM has two kids, and one of them is good enough to play at that level. Despite his wonderful coaching sometimes exposure is good and if that's what the kid wants then you honor it.

If there is a new kid with similar size and speed don't you think that player would be going to the ECNL team already????

Have you guys ever considered that maybe a parent may not have the financial resources to support ECNL? Is playing in the best league free? Just because a player is good enough to play anywhere does not necessarily mean that it's a must for that player. There may be other reasons why some players play where they feel comfortable and within their financial means. If the player in question goes to ECNL, you know it will cost the family approximately $3K - $5K in all cost. Stop speaking on behalf of a player unless you know where they stand. ECNL is not for everyone.
