    Oh God... really south Brevard?

That's the last thing we need is OC marketing its way here... They don't turn down players for comp levels.. they just make more and more teams, charging the same, and honestly, only a few coaches worthy of pay.

Everyone thinks their kid is the next Messi, so they are so quick to sign up for purple.

      Brevard Elite...

Can I just say that I'm instantly turned off by any team or club that has the name 'elite' in it... That word is too heavily used by too many.

Lets be real... Usually each team has a couple of 'elite' players, and each league realistically has just a handful of real career worthy kids in it....

      Elite.... uhg......

I'm sorry, but there's nothing 'elite' about Palm Bay...lol....It's as elite as a Walmart.

Does Brevard Elite FC have a website or a coaching list or tryout dates?

As for the merger, that was a joke. South Brevard does not want to make the same mistake as Melbourne Beach.

Look at MLB Tsunami, they don't even own their own fields anymore...very sad. Way to go Robert Baldwin.

If South Brevard wants to lose their fields to Dumb (Randy) and Dumber (Matt) then they will merge, but hopefully they are smarter than that...I'm out!
Robert Baldwin did a great job and FYI MLB never owned their fields - Brevard county owns flutie complex

              1. Our Club through affiliation with OCYS will now offer our players an elite level of league and team designation only available to US Club affiliated soccer clubs. These elite level teams will have home fields at our fields and will initially be called Orlando East teams until SBFC has a foundation in place to sustain these teams that would include properly trained staff and coaches that meet the requirements to run this level of team. These teams for example are NPL, FSPL, Pre-ECNL and potentially DA academy teams should the talent pool and level warrant the formation of the team.

              2. 2. Our coaches will have the ability to attend and observe select MLS, NWSL and USL training sessions for those teams.

              3. 3. SBFC will have access to all of Orlando City's coaching resources and curriculum, including training sessions and activities.

              4. 4. Our coaches will be allowed to attend education sessions conducted by Orlando City Academy staff and Orlando City Pro team staff

              5. 5. Mutual player assessments by SBFC and OC staff to identify players who can potentially play on the DA Academy teams

              6. 6. SBFC will be given special affiliation club discounts for OC merchandise, group tickets and special events for Affiliates only.

              7. 7. Through major brand affiliation our club will now be able to draw much larger club sponsorships to aid in club needs.

The affiliation with OC overall will create different levels of play and prices.

              · Competitive Elite ( Highest level this season branded as OC east teams, wearing OC kits as they are now) Fees similar to those posted at www.orlandocitysc.com

              · Competitive (2 nd tier comp teams fees are nearly the same as they are now)

              · Developmental advanced teams U8 and U9 (Fees again nearly the same as they are now)

              · Recreational U5-U8, U10-U18 (No change in structure, fees are relatively the same)

              · Shooting Stars 2-4 year olds (No change at this time)

In addition to above several benefits and changes will be realized over the next few months.

              1. 1. South Brevard FC Phoenix will adopt Lions in place of Phoenix and will have a slight overall name change to be determined. Ex and this is only example SBFC could become Brevard Lions Soccer Club. Remember that is just an example.

              2. 2. South Brevard FC once the name has changed and Lions having been adopted will come up with a new club patch to include a completely new design.

              3. 3. Once the name and club patch are confirmed in place we will announce an overall club color change to Purple and Orange or Purple and White.

              4. 4. The uniforms will then no longer be supplied by our current supplier (After the 2016/2017 season) but then will be supplied by Adidas and will be designed very closely to the OCYS/MLS kits we see today for the 2017/2018 season.

It should be noted that before Orlando City Soccer approached SBFC they put us through a verification process to include points such as regarding player development, club philosophy, organization, resources, programs as well as in terms of coaching our coaches licensing, education and overall assessment of our coaches. Based on our superior foundation it was determined by Orlando City soccer that SBFC was this area's market premier club to affiliate with.

Thank You and please stay tuned to website for many more announcements.

It sounds nice, but most people in Brevard know that SBFC has a bad rep for poor management and lousey directors.

Most people who leave, swear they will never come back. Promising to put kids in purple, doesn't do much but look like a last attempt to save the club before all the good talent leaves.

This 'working relationship' isn't as glamorous as its being broadcasted.
