Why would anyone leave NEFC's DA to go to SSS DA???

More likely they're leaving to go back to ECNL. There could be a few going to SSS who either don't get much PT or it's closer to home.

Not sure why SSS is going DA when they will have less competition and more travel. The clubs in the NE DA are not very strong. Curious as to what SSS/LL is telling her parents why to pay more money, sacrifice high school play and now actually playing less since they cannot do all the league games and indoor games in the winter. Wait, the DA does not enforce rules so LL will be all good. I bet you will see a lot of DA players play on their NPL teams in the fall and spring.

The name of the club is "South Shore", and in that region girls HS play is very important. I am not arguing that HS is or isn't good, or that any one family should or shouldn't choose DA. Similarly, you shouldn't argue that the primary market LL is hoping to retain will readily give up HS stardom.
