If one positive case shuts down a league, then we can kiss 2020 MA HS sports buh-bye.

Meanwhile, University of Alabama has had nearly 2,000 students that have tested positive and they're plowing full speed ahead with their semester.

Such a huge dichotomy in how the north and the south are treating this pandemic.
Well you can always move down south. Because the South always seems to get things right?
Remember Florida when they didn’t care about this then what happened?
Again if you don’t like living here you can always move down south.

Are you talking about the part where Florida has 54 deaths per 100,000 and Massachusetts has 132 per 100,000?

Your right, maybe we should all move to Florida.

Way to completely overreact and misread my post.

#1) "If you don't like it, move." Wow, such a defensive, childish response. You sound like an angry 80-year-old curmudgeon with logic like that.

#2) Settle down, sparky. I never said that we should handle things like Alabama is.

I was merely pointing out the dichotomy of the two approaches in the north and south.

There's a happy medium between throwing caution to the wind and living inside a bubble.

But feel free to disagree with another poorly thought out knee-jerk response.

You must just regurgitate everything Tucker Carlson says. Politicizing COVID is a dangerous and disgusting game.

Just remember that. Florida and other southern states had the advantage of being able to learn from what other states did right and wrong — and still became the epicenter of the virus by mid summer. If you're proud of that, then you're as dumb as DeSantis.

DeSantis was an unmitigated moron. All he had to do was open his eyes and see what had happened in NY, NJ, CT and MA. But he was too proud, arrogant and ignorant to do it.

His irresponsibility killed thousands of his constituents.

Riveting. I’d love to hear more. Can you tell us the one where Cuomo and Baker signed the death sentences for the most vulnerable in our population living in nursing homes? Their irresponsibility was acceptable I’m guessing? Thanks in advance!

DCL is planning on playing two games a week with the same opponent so that if any player ends up being infected there is a limit to the number of teams that were exposed to that player. DCL plans on single elimination tournament with seedings based on record for the Varsity teams. They are expecting parents to do some of the driving to minimize the amount of kids on the bus. Our coach has requested that all of our players stop doing any club sports (i know some players play club lax in addition to club soccer) activity due to the exposure to kids from other towns until the season ends.
