You have a well run club in FP with good coaches. In OCYS you have and have had the complete opposite for many years. I don’t understand how OCSC is ok with OCYS tarnishing their name. This weekend was a total DISGRACE!

Oc has been a declining club for many years. The true test is when tbu and florida premier play each other.

Why would playing TBU’s B teams be a true test? Did you see TBU ECNL results last two years on boys side? Throw in the fact now a good amount of TBU boys left, that’s not a test

That 07 Florida Premier team will be a test for any 07 team in the country. They are big, fast and play a great style is soccer. The 04 team has at least 4 former DA players on it as well. They can play with anyone. OCYS is a joke that they can’t put a better product on the field. Guess that’s what happens when you move stuff every year, don’t communicate with parents and keep the same players while getting mediocre results.

Their 08s beat 0Cs "pre DA" last year and went to extra time in a finals with Inter so they'll be a test for anyone too.

Inter's top 2008s were in Georgia that weekend. And even then, the game was not particularly close.

Excuse?? Inter won the game and the tournament with their 2008 2nd team mixed in with some 2009 players... Where is the excuse? Slightly confused...

The people that are comparing FP from even a year or two ago to now are missing the moves that were made with players.

In our age group only like 2 players from last year's "top" team are on ECNL. They pulled a few kids back that were playing up and picked a lot of talent from the rest of the clubs in the area. Player pool looks a lot different, "Top" kids from a year ago or 2-3rd tier.

Would like to see them play TBU, should be a good measuring stick.

But if a CDL-caliber team picks up a lot of talent from other CDL-caliber teams doesn't that just make a new CDL-caliber team?

Inter and OC should be head and shoulders above the other MLS Elite/ DA clubs or they are doing something seriously wrong. I know that hasn't been the case with OC to date, but I have hopes that it will for Inter. And being competitive with them in the younger age groups is a nice measuring stick, but they really should blow the doors off of every other non real MLS club team after the age of 15.

The problem here in central Florida is OC MLS has seriously disconnected itself from the surrounding communities and clubs. They are so arrogant and talk down to the other clubs instead of partnering with them and trying to create a true pathway or funnel for the players to work towards. They told our club director that if they do not fall inline with them and do as they say they would never select any of their players and that they have plenty of other options to choose from. How is that going type of attitude going to help the players?
                              They have failed miserably here.
