Yep and the people it is dangerous for are the very old and / or compromised.. Let the kids live their lives - end the ridiculous lock downs and restrictions.

And when the kids give it to others? Grandparents and others who live in the home ?

and the teachers, staff or others in the community. It's not just about the kids. Same with colleges re-opening. College towns are seeing case spikes with kids back on campus.

Our HS has 12 girls games and / or scrimmages scheduled. Obviously against schools that are playing a season. That’s significantly fewer than usual because the season is shortened, and there won’t be the usual state tournaments.

Tryouts are already over. Fewer kids than normal, and the ratio of club team players to others is higher, making me suspect that those who opted out were the rec league or travel players who typically take a shot at the team but deferred this year. Can’t think of any club players in town who decided not to play.

Some are playing for their club teams too because, as you probably know, many clubs (though apparently not the ECNL) have decided to have fall seasons for HS aged groups because some of their kids are in school districts without a HS season. The EDP fall schedules for high school age girls groups have unusual numbers of teams for a fall season, especially in the transitional year—u15.

I’ve also heard of at least one boys HS team that, though not having a season, is getting its players together to play in the edp boys U18 division.

Starting to look like schools will have to go all virtual soon with cases spreading. Outside sports should still be okay hopefully.

                                This is some BS

Have they ever shut down basketball or wrestling for a flu outbreak? Asking for a friend. This will all be over in early November
