I also know of several talented kids that didn’t try out last year because of the situation at Bucks. They decided to stay on their current team or went to another ECNL team. The ones that stayed on their current team decided to wait another year to see which club situation (bucks or delco) got better.
Kids have been leaving in greater numbers since CF and DM started running things. It really is a simple fix, just do a national search for a DOC and Tech Director. The club has the kids, not they need good people to work with those kids. Why doesn't JM have a greater role?

Kids leave in great numbers from all the clubs. Many club hop. Some have been at every local club there is. But, having kids and having talented kids are different (hence the reason people club hop). Everybody thinks their kid is the next greatest. Some really are, but most are not. And when the kids hit the ceiling, people blame the coaches. Sometimes, most times, it's the parents and their expectations.

Everyone should go into club soccer thinking it's for fun; not as a way to get access to, money for or both for college. It's a way to get exercise and make friends and learn a great sport. If you get the honor of using it for college (either pathway or money or both), cherry on the cake. If it doesn't work out, your kid will have some great experiences as he/she grows up. AND so will you.

Everyone also expects that they will be given what is said their child will receive in the invitation to the team email.

This includes - trainings 2-3 times a week
        3 teams per field max
Staff of coaches not one coach one team
        Spend and agility training.

Look at your daughters invite email this is all in there.

Bucks is not giving us what we are paying for, and that is one of the reasons people leave.
        Changes need to happen.

But you don’t have the backbone to say anything so why should we care? You are great at anonymous posts complaining on a troll site but that’s about it. Actually do something about it if you’re unhappy; not complain anonymously (yelling underwater) in here like a toddler.

In that case you should just play CRUSA rec because right now that is what we are getting for the money! Also, kids don't hop from good clubs, they hop to good clubs. Kids leave and go to PDA and Penn Fusion. All Bucks needs to do is make some changes for the good of all at the club and people will stay, and kids will hop to us.

Don't kid yourself. It's a different caliber kid that can make those teams (PDA and Penn Fusion) and different league re GDA.

That said, many leave for other very similar teams and not those named; unless you are top level. So, when you then find out that you left one team for another very similar team, that's when the regret sets in and you realize, your kid was perfectly fine before the move.

Serious question. Why do you think the Dad Coach continues to coach and refuses to step aside?

                      Question

What’s the deal with this “dad” coach?” This is an ECNL team, right? Is the daughter on there only because of him? Sorry, I am late to this thread and not sure what the issue is. This thread is really long.

Parents on the team were banned from posting anymore. But the thread will live in infamy.
