It's clear there are actual discussions going on-

"Four separate sources indicate that Massachusetts has considered limits on club and youth recreational activities over the next few weeks with COVID-19 cases on the rise. At this point, however, no actions are imminent.
Any that are implemented are unlikely to impact schools"
So stupid. HS and their pasta and drinking parties will be allowed to go on while kids who up until now had a safe outlet for activity and socialization will be sent to basement playdates. Way to go!

Awesome that it doesn’t effect young athletes at all and those that have older at risk families can opt out .

Basement play dates love it especially when we are putting turf carpet in our basement for informal small team practices 4 kids 2 v 2. Shutting down gyms forces kids in small spaces to play. Smart.

You can’t work on your mental and physical health when you are on a ventilator.
How much does kiddie youth soccer really contribute to the economy?
No better example of misguided hyperbole than this.
Yes, cases are going up, and the young are to blame, but they aren't going to the hospital and they aren't being put on ventilators. Have you actually looked at the MA Data?
Pg 44-46 gives hospitalization and death data by age group.

The numbers don't lie. Unless you are over 80 and in a nursing home and with another condition... much ado about nothing. Trumps almost out. 60 days until Biden shows true leadership and rescues the country from this horrible pandemic
