PT doesn't have to be equal but it needs to be meaningful. A coach that doesn't make an effort for every player won't for yours either.

The better coaches my kids have had all keep game time comments to a minimum, let the players go and doesn't yank them for the first mistake. If a player comes off the field they take them aside and talk to them with positive and negative comments. You have their focus then. When they're on the field it's white noise
