You gave yourself away on being fake news when you included this line. 0% chance a governing body would let some numb nuts parent know how they would punish a club.

We just received a email from the ECNL in regards to complaints made about DB and RT's desire to move up the entire MF Shore 09 roster and replace the existing 08 ECNL roster. Very happy to hear they will be looking into the allegations. So happy that we were able to provide so much information to back up our complaints, including pages upon pages of TS threads about this.
Here are some of the things in the email...
"Thank you for your email. It was one of 7 that we received in regards to the MF Shore 09 team and the MF 08 ECNL.
While the ECNL does encourage players to play up, we do not advocate replacing an entire team with a younger division, especially not one already affiliated with the ECNL.
We will conduct an investigation into these complaints, and if we find it to have any merit, we will take appropriate measures, with the possibility of removing the MF Academy from the ECNL league. We will not tolerate such actions from any club."
Let's see how far this actually goes. And for the record, yes, I'm a parent with a daughter on the 08 ECNL team.
Instead of punishing our girls for not winning every game, maybe DB should actually get off his ass and work with the girls and help them improve rather than holding RT's hand and giving him everything he wants.

Part, or all, of this is a fabrication. It’s obviously a desperate attempt to try and scare MF into doing “the right thing.”

MF will not get removed nor should they. Their 07 team is he #2 team behind PDA Blue in the age group. The 08 team stinks and the 09 Shore team is clearly better...There will be plenty of movement in the age group so the 09 Shore team just needs to wait 1/2 a season and they will be the top 09 team in the league. That's a very arrogant thing to say...MF hardly beat PDA in early fall with two key players missing.

The 2009s will be losing at least 4 players before Fall 2021, some to PDA if not all. It will affect how good the current team is. Hell, it's even possible the whole team disbands and some move up to 2008 and others join the existing PRE-ECNL team.

The top is far from guaranteed with PDA, Pipeline, Bethesda, Penn Fusion, and MD United. All of these clubs with exception of Pipeline (who is new to ECNL) get better year after year.

This is true - the NOrth Atlantic is a joke. PDA showed their colors when they put Blue in that and White in the New England, which is far superior.

No one said otherwise, just that team not PDA Blue is a joke up and down the age groups in NE div and that Blue should have taken the NE div and given White the NA as White would still win and Blue could play some real clubs.

Exactly. PDA put Blue into the NA so they could have a cakewalk because the competition in NE would have been better as the club quality is higher there. Mind you, they'd still win pretty much every age group, but perhaps by a little less.

Yeah and this suckS for kids looking to get recruited as these games are taped and live streamed for coaches to look at. I still don’t get why outdoor games get cancelled. Unless I am missing something, has there been any real contraction from outdoor activities? Also, what about the money parents spend and now games are cancelled....again? Every effort should be made to play.
