    Is Galway really in trouble?

It's tryout time. It's par for the course that the propaganda machines go into overdrive. Galway is an annual target for whatever reason. This year seems extreme though. Are they really in trouble? How many teams does a club like Galway require to remain solvent?

They'll be fine. Wealthy parents on the South Shore have a long standing tradition of paying more for less.

They are probably all set. It seems like the older girls and younger boys & girls that are rumored to be leaving.

As a parent of a kid playing at Galway my kid will be there tonight but tomorrow will be somewhere different because we are worried that most of the good players and teams are moving on and do not want to be stuck on a crap team with FA coaching because they list to much money and won't be able to pay to keep good coaches.

Love to be a fly on the wall when they are calling the kids tonight and offering spots on Galways elite teams and seeing the reaction when they do not get an answer right away.

By tomorrow night FA will know if he's on borrowed time or not. GR is smart enough to have a back-up plan.

He knows already that he is on borrowed time, he doesn't have to wait until tomorrow.

If true, he's a better option than FA.

Apparently the English language has been abused to the point that when someone sees it being used correctly, they assume that it must be the Queen's English. It's not. Nothing in that post would indicate the poster is British. Plus if it was a Mass City coach, he or she would likely say that they left Galway and will be at Mass City both nights.

If it was a coach from Masscity would they not be getting ready for tryouts and not posting on this thread at 3pm today. I would imagine they would be expecting a lot of kids there today the only coaches with time to check this thread today at 3 would most likely be from Galway with most of their teams gone they probably have nothing but time on their hands.
