JFC Armada gets angry on here because FESA boys teams are beating JFC teams in the ecnl standings for every team except U16 boys where Armada is 2nd and FESA is 3rd place. Armada U14 boys are in last place and FESA U14 are in 2nd place. Armada has three other teams in 11th place almost last (U15, U17, and U19). FESA has a U19 ECNL boys composite team but JFC does not. Both clubs are not doing so hot in Boys ECNL but they are only a few games in.

Armada not angry. You are trying to compare FESA's boys A teams to Armada's B teams. Nice try with the lies. Everyone knows Armada plays DA and FESA boys would be smoked by those teams. Just accept reality and stop spinning the non-sense FESA. You appear so desperate because you are.

Totally agree with you here. Let’s just take it a step further to explain the difference here.

Let’s look at the U16 age group for a moment. I think all will agree that this is far and away FESA’s best and most accomplished boys team at the club. There really can’t even begin to be an argument against that. Well, they are currently behind the Armada U16 ECNL team in the standings while playing exactly the same schedule. Why and how is that possible you ask?

Simple really. DA has a combined U16/U17 age group. Which means that many of the 03 DA team from last year are now playing U16 ECNL. In fact, all but 7 from a roster of 18 for the 03 DA team from last year are playing on the U16 ECNL team. Here’s the crazy thing though, those 7 were starters, and accounted for about 95% of the teams goal production, as well as a couple of anchors of the defense. Of the seven players not with the U16ECNL team, 1 is now in the residency program at Monteverde with Orlando City, 1 is playing with the U17 ECNL team, 3 are starters on the U16/U17 DA team, and 2 are starters on the 04 DA team.

That 03 DA team by the way, while good, was a middle of the pack team in the Southeast U15 DA standings last year. The current U16 ECNL team for Armada, made up of 11 DA players from last year, and missing 7 starters from that DA team, is currently an undefeated 4-0, with wins over some of the top 03 ECNL teams in the Southeast from last year, including last years ECNL “national champion” Tennessee SC.

Now you know the whole story. Just imagine what the full 03 DA team from last year would be doing to the ECNL competition.

FESA verbally and emotionally abuses it’s players right down to the U9’s. Cursing at 8 and 9-year-olds when things don’t go their way. That SafeSport Certificate is null and void with their coaching behavior and tactics. Many parents are wising up and leaving because of the abuse. Great players become with influential coaching. FESA has no inspirational coaches. Just egotistical brats.

FESA studs who want to do DA do drive up to Armada. Depends on the player and if they want to play high school.

It so obvious that 98% of the anti-FESA posts are just part of a smear campaign. Read this post (and all the others like it). What average parent takes the time to write this? Or the hundreds of posts about FESA taking some guest players to Nationals. The average parent with a job, a mortgage and few kids playing soccer really don't that much about this stuff.

Especially to keep 5-6 threads active with anti-FESA propaganda. I don't know of a single parent at FESA who cares how much the Director makes.

The vast majority of these posts are criticisms of FESA disguised as complaints from parents - the thing is they are not complaints from parents. Many/most of us like the majority of what goes on at FESA. Point being - is someone cursed at my 8 year-old at FESA, I wouldn't be on TS complaining about it - I'd be over the fields finding that person!

Hundreds of posts complaining about FESA can’t all be made up! They are banking on parents who know little about soccer but get taken in by the hype and marketing paying the inflated fees year after year and seeing little by the way of actual development and teaching. Your better coaches all left the club. ( there’s a couple still coaching who are good guys) but the patents do talk about this out at veterans and yes a lot of people do put up with it for fear of reprisals. ( seen it first hand) I don’t care what the Director makes as a salary but for that amount of money it should be top level results which clearly it isn’t and the club is mediocre.

Read the actual message! This parent left because of the abuse. They do not care if you like them cussing or not. They do what they want! Cursing at kids is not the way to create phenomenal players. This parent would have loved to have knocked these coaches to the ground, but what would he be teaching his child then? You leave and not allow them any more of your time, your money or your player’s time and emotional well being.

Which coach was cussing at an 8 year old? I find that hard to believe

If you don't care a youth soccer director is making more than your family doctor to run a youth sports club, good for you. Some of us are disgusted that youth sports has become a big business for adults to profit (even though "not for profit") off of kids and their hard-working families. The fees for youth soccer have risen quite a bit over the years, not because the quality has substantially increased over time, but rather because some wise business folks found out how desperate parents are to get their child into a good soccer environment/club/the best league, so they charge more and more. The money is not passed down, as you still pay separately for road trips, tournaments. The money goes upward, to pay some director >100k for who knows what value. You have to question why does a club need to expand from Tallahassee, to Jacksonville, to Palm Coast, to Port Orange. It's for pure numbers, more participants, more money, a bonus. Something seems wrong here, that is the message people are sending.

But how did the FESA club leaders and board about five years ago allow an unknown soccer guy from Texas come in with that kind of salary or has his salary increased over the years because in his contract his salary is linked to increase in player membership? Coach Gough, Coach John, Coach Felipe, Coach Busby, Coach Scotty and Coach Pickett must get paid a hefty salary too.

This is very telling of the level of boys ECNL I’d say.

So. In addition to paying off this message board to censor and delete threads stating the truth about FESA, they got Perry Mason's scrubbing each letter of every word to prove a "smear campaign". How about you just try to defend yourself against the accusations with the truth? Of course, that is much harder!
