2000 is on the lower end. 2700 is more like it plus all tournaments. LL is making a lot of money on unsuspecting families. $120 a tournament per player.

Most really end up paying 3000-4000, 5-8k for upper teams who travel R1.

The sports center needs a wrecking ball and a rebuild.

I heard they beat up on your daughters team while playing up 2 age groups and you still haven't got over it yet.

In reality: For the 2nd(neglected) team, the cost is easily 4000+ after all tournament fees paid not including the Disney tournament which could easily be additional 2000 for just Disney weekend alone. Neglected because unfortunately as with other clubs, the 1st team gets the most priority... SSS "AP" get the special names on their shirts, the extra special training sessions and leadership classes. The 2nd teams exists on pure hope that someday their Mia will make that special team and travel all around with Region 1 tournaments spending close to 8000. Don't feed into this people. You can get the same training at a lower cost somewhere else. This is ridiculous. How many of those girls end up with college scholarships? Maybe just a few to BC........

Yes, she pushed her dad out. Poor guy, he built something and she is tearing it down.

Agree and disagree with what you wrote.

Agree that everyone should take a good hard look at why they are involved with any club soccer program and investigate what other clubs offer for free (like ACL screenings, athletic diet advice, sports psychology etc) when they do their value judgement. The difference between a quality club and one that is just in it for the money is the amount of free training and information that they make accessible to everyone in the club, not just the top players.

Disagree that few players end up with scholarship money because there is actually quite a bit of money out there but you'll never find it if you set the bar at playing in the ACC. A good club should help you sort the soccer fit all out and it should be one of those free things that get included in the fee.

But its ok for you to ruin your daughters life by being overly involved and obsessed with girls soccer.

Teaching my daughter right from wrong, how to treat others, to be a good friend and teammate, and to be respectful is what I am obsessed with, not soccer!
