So Ridgefield beats Ludlowe and Greenwich 2-0. Ludlowe better than Greenwich but still 2 pretty weak teams. I haven't seen Ridgefield play, but I guess I expected it to be more lopsided. What gives?Comment

Say what your want about St Joes but reality is the CFC Coaches in FCIAC can’t carry JN ball bag. St. Joes gets players because they know he doesn’t give a crap what club they play at or what position they play. JN cares about winning, most of the other guys care about helping pay for the new Turf field in Bethany. The guy can come across like an arrogant ass, but he eats the CFC Coaches lunches every time he plays them. St. Joes wins it all again this year because the have good players and the best HS coach in the league.Comment

You are a tool. He wins because he’s not playing by the same rules that the rest are. Without his advantage he has far less wins and people wouldn’t tolerate his crap if that was the case. He does play by the same rules fool, just cause you sucked as a player in another country and now decide to come to US doesn’t mean you can coach youth or high school soccer. Congrats to Warde and their Coach, he’s actually one of the better coaches in the FCIAC too. Don’t be surprise if Ridgefield doesn’t give him a game either, that’s another St Joes type program.

Ridgefield is public high school that has built a “program” and is now starting to have consistent success.
They can’t recruit a goalkeeper because on graduates or grab a talented Center mid from several towns away because you think she could help you win.
You are either naive, delusional or flat out stupid if you think they are playing by the same rules.
If you want an example of what a class program looks like see Glastonbury on both the girls and boys side. Rich tradition, big numbers and consistently in the discussion for top teams in the state. The only kids they can recruit are the tax paying residents of their town
