So, players can just be added to the roster after hs season? So instead of registering the player in the Fall (and dealing with a waiver), they just bring in a player for spring? Is this true? Have to assume it’s only for a very select few, but basically it’s a “waiver” (without being called a waiver, right?)

Spoken from a 52 year old who peaked as a hs sophomore. Watch that waistline big boy!! The heart issues set in about now, and we're getting snow tonight. Watch that widow maker.

Foxboro.org. Anybody can join. Scales will take anybody that can stand and run around aimlessly for 20 minutes.

If they let your kid in then mine will be top of the class.

Yes clubs can do that and yes it's not a "waiver" waiver, more a wink and a smile waiver.

Does that only work for one year... or is it a wink and a smile "waiver" all through hs?

it's up to the club. most won't take such a player unless they feel that he's going be an impact player for them.

That is the problem. It’s for one year only.

The Revs play terrible soccer. Period.
Stop kissing the coaches' arses. The soccer still sucks.
Playing up or down does nothing to improve anyone.
                          Get over yourselves.

I disagree, the Revs are well structured on the field. The coaching is so different to pay to play clubs, they don’t push the boys to play with intensity, they expect that to come from within. They are only interested in players who bring their own energy and motivation. If you don’t then you are cut. It makes a lot of sense when you realize the players are not customers, they are apprentices, a v Ryan different relationship. If you don’t get it and are outside the club that’s fine. If you don’t get it and are in the club then start making other plans for next year.
