The coaching at BS is not strong or consistent. They charge a fortune compared to other clubs and treat customers poorly. They've rested on the DA laurels a long time and the local landscape changed in the meantime. Then, there's club leadership which seems unable to change
Every club, academy or not, got their best players picked off by NYCFC and RBNY. That doesn't mean there's no more good players, since those clubs picked from a pool of thousands.
What local ECNL club are you talking about? CFC? World Class? Neither of those draw away from core FFCY.
EDP? BS has premier teams in EDP regional already. Why would improving their pool by reincorporating DA level kids cause them to lose players?
NPL? Really? That's a shadow of what it once was.
Realistically the competition for BS will be what it has been recently -- FCW and NYSC. FCW is likely to fold under pressure from their next door neighbor and the loss of DA. NYSC is the BS biggest threat.

What’s up with BS blast emailing about looking for coaches? Odd strategy. Where did their coaches go?

MK and his right hand man Omar have screwd so many coaches that they have to resort to email blasts to find employees. 5 years ago someone would have laughed if you told them this. The amount of coaches burned by these two is astonishing

MSL League is taking over, and there has been no discussion of a B league for any members. I am sure MLS needed to make those assurances to make the league happen.
