Default Any thoughts on DA or ECNL teams in the Albany region?

We are relocating from a different region and want some general info or recommendations for high level girls program in the Albany NY area. Thank You!

There's nothing in the Albany area for DA or ECNL. Would need to commute to Westchester, Rockland, or CT. Closest may be World Class (ECNL) and NYCFC (DA) in Orangeburg. They would be long commutes 1.5 hours. Some Albany area boys commute to Oakwood in CT.

Close by you in Albany area there are some NPL options such as Albany Alleycats and NY Elite. Alleycats are better option.

Quickstrike FC in Newburgh, NY another NPL option but it's a long commute too

Rumors of an AlleyCat/World Class FC merger. Any truth to that?

That would make sense. Also would open up a new geographic area for ECNL

As this posts indicates there is a lot of white space from Westchester to Upstate or Western NY (Buffalo/Syracuse)

Yes but also not much population density either.

Understood. Still some quality players around Albany area in particular. College coaches and facilities as well

If you are ECNL or World Class chance to grab a foothold
