The scenarios you posited are less likely to occur than getting in a fatal car accident on the way to the park or being struck by lightening. Moreover, if its just the kids participating, they really dont get sick from the virus. Provided they use hand sanitzer prior to entering the car, you and everyone else around your kid should be fine.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI agree with your sentiment, but disagree that a little squirt of hand sanitizer is enough. Kids can have Covid and be completely asymptomatic, so I think a few more precautionary measures would be beneficial-but yeah, society cannot maintain this limbo status indefinitely. People need to act responsibly & take proper measures, but move forward nonetheless. If the MGM Casinos in Vegas can figure it out, so can everyone else.
The draconian laws that are being enforced right now are crazy. Use good sense, otherwise let Darwinism happen.

well here are the latest stats from everyons fav. luv gov.
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/06/ny-g...ying-home.html
-1% of all new cases came from people in jail (liberals wanted criminals free to protect them :(
-2% of all new cases came from homeless people
-66% of all new cases came from people social distancing and staying home. "shocking" says the luv gov.
point is we don't know enough about this to make logical decisions. obviously social distancing not working.
Youth sports (as we once knew it to be) could be over indefinitely.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThat's just idiotic. Those are all self-reported "social distancing and staying home" people. If you believe they were truthful, then why bother with shelter in place and lets just open everything up. Moreover, the adverse effects that are seem from Covid 19 dont really happen in the youth, unless there is an underlying ailment. So, if your kids is diabetic or asthmatic, be smart and dont let them play. For the other 95% of kids, be smart, socially distant and youre fine.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAgree. If you can start opening up somewhat then kicking a ball around while socially distancing should be allowed. We need to get the youth active again.
