    Covid Aside:

If he is a good coach, offering up his time for free or at a more reasonable rate and has parents that like that model then why would anyone care and need to have any input at all. It's none of your business.

Why is everyone alway alway so negative. That is part of the issue with our country right now! What if the coach is working with players and the parents approve? What are your kids doing? These players that put in the extra time right now are going to come out so far ahead of the kids that stay home and do nothing. I commend both parties for getting great air for the health of the kids. The personal issue you have with this coach reflects on you with envy of this coach.

Just a few questions during these informal training sessions:

        1) Have they been following the distancing guidelines?
        2) Are they monitoring the players heath before stepping on the field?
        3) Are they following the Stay at Home 2.0 recommendations?

If yes to all three, have at it. If no to any, they really shouldn't be doing it.

Judging by what I see in the recommendations for opening up youth sports, this activity SEEMS to not be aligned with those (but I didn't see it so someone else can chime in).
