    Bruno-what am I paying for?

Why is it that Bruno charges the same as other RI clubs and barely practices? Or plays?

It really is kind of ridiculous-why would anyone play there who has any talent?

Bruno is the club for kids who can't make Bayside.

Its the truth...bruno=those who can't make bayside...id rather be a bayhole anyday... On a serious note....if I was shelling out that amount of money...id expect practices, legit tournaments and much more competitive level of soccer...

Being the best club out of these 2 is sort of like being the tallest midget.

Really? Isn't it all about player development? That's what they say to get you in the door, once they have your money it's a totally different story. Stay away!! A decent Town team is a better option, take the money you save and do a few individual clinics and you will have far better training than Bruno!

I am so jealous of Bayside FC. The pain of not belonging is unbearable.

If you really want to do analysis, then check out their Form 990 and ask for other clubs (except Bayside which is a for profit LLC so don't believe they have to give you their data) and then compare with what you know in terms of training, facilities, etc.

What about the non profit clubs who have their players parents make checks payable to the club President personally and not the actual club? Fishy?

They have some very good coaches.

They really should spend more on training facilities-I don't think the coaches are the issue. There are also kids playing for Bruno that are every bit as good as those playing for Bayside-Bruno doesn't have the depth or the top level talent perhaps but there are kids playing for Bruno that could certainly-based on merit-be playing for Bayside. There are kids on Bayside who make it for reasons other than talent just like every other team on the face of the earth.

I do believe though Bruno is short changing their players by not offering conditioning sessions in the winter like Bayside-

I personally think a club like Lusitana is a better choice financially than Bruno but they don't play NEP and some people are looking for that-whether or not they can actually field a team that can compete at that level is another story.
