Sure enough, after R3 camp in Alabama, they announce the 2 GKs going to the Thanksgiving Camp in Florida: both from Tennessee teams - both from the same club that the ODP coach from Tennessee coaches with. So after a 6-month long selection process, evaluating GKs from 11 States in R3, the 2 best GKs in an age group come from a single club in Tennessee with a coach that is heavily involved in ODP?
We brought this to the attention of Strickland - he never answered our messages. Daugther decided to punch out of ODP after that. She's committed to a high level D1 program in Fall, 2019. She benefitted from ODP but the politics are brutal and the Florida ODP leadership are complete push-overs.

So it is understood from the very beginning that these "volunteer coaches" are going to have agendas and ODP looks the other way when the coaches work their individual agendas during the player selection process. ODP leadership just stands by as the coaches make "highly suspect" selections.

It’s all about the money. They aren’t really looking for the most talented players if you have to pay to attend the try outs.

Now I get it. They don't select the skilled kids who they don't know. Instead they select the lesser talented kids. This allows them to select their own players because they look better than the ones they let through. Makes total sense now. Knowing the coaches are volunteers who are selecting the kids connects the dots even further. The fat pigs walking around with clip boards should be ashamed of themselves. At least act like you have a European accent. That would qualify you for sure. Maybe even justify a pay raise.

If FYSA WANTS TO GROW THE ODP PROGRAM THEN RIGGING A BUNCH OF 5TH GRADERS NEEDS TO ADDRESSED. DOC'S USING THE ODP TO MARKET THEIR OWN PROGRAM IS ANTITHETICAL TO PLAYER DEVELOPMENT...

1) DA players are forbidden from playing in ODP.
2) ODP does invite many ECNL players but many ECNL players decline.
3) "The clubs with top teams in FYSA leagues will have a higher representation of ODP state players and ones who get selected for ODP Region camp and Region teams." Many/most of the top teams in FYSA leagues are the 2nd or 3rd teams at clubs that have ECNL teams too but for the reasons listed above they only have a few or no ODP players. It's fishy why a Sunrise would have so many ODP players compared to other clubs that also do very well in FYSA leagues.
