We are fortunate enough to be able to afford it, but after this past fall, we see how the favoritism on some teams can ruin team unity
Tell your kid to play harder. That stuff happens everywhere. How you deal with it is what matters. You sound unhappy so go ahead and walk. You have options

You’re completely wrong on the age group for either of his kids.

So which is the lesser of the two evils then between NYSC and BS? Does anyone have experience with both that they can share (besides bashing, and other then the facility issue, we all know about that!)? Is NYSC more $ than BS? If so, is it worth it or are you just paying more for a facility?

No question. NYSC is better. We have done both and do not regret moving over at all.

It's all about the coaching. NYSC wins by a smaller margin there but is definitely still a win. Facilities sound like a nice to have but in reality it's quite important. BS has terrible indoor and turf options. In the NE that matters. BS fields are also all over the place. That makes supervision of practices by a DOC on a regular basis challenging as well. Locations can also change so depending on your location what is convenient one season may turn into a driving nightmare the next. NYSC is a bit further. The counter commute is a breeze. Coming home can be more challenging depending on the time of day.

Best bet is call both clubs them to see if your kid can come to a practice or two. Also, as the season is starting go watch both clubs play. You can see the skill level and how the coaches interact with their players

BS has fundraisers that families are pressured to donate too.

Prices vary by age, team and league. Call the clubs for accurate information and ask what the fee includes - uniforms? Winter Futsal? Winter practice? All tournaments?

NYSC is more like $3300-$3500 range, $400 for uniform. Futsal would be another $500. Tournaments like $500 (5x$100 each).

Most clubs do. Read the fine print. Ask about raffles and auction nights too

No auction night this year at NYSC.

The numbers quoted above at $3500 tuition are completely legit.
