Completely disagree. Money is what will push these clubs together. The EDP and CCSL leagues will continue to raise prices. At some point the clubs will put their egos to the side and come together because of money. Every club wants good competition and they would much prefer to find it closer to home. No one enjoys trips to Long Island, MA and NJ on the weekend. I predict clubs move to forming their own league in next 2-3 years and regulate and control it without EDP or NYCSL reaping the profits.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

not the poster, but if this (or another) is a decent league that had decent clubs and didn't require traveling all over to get decent games, there's a market for that. CCSL has been trying to make that happen here and it's working well with the younger teams. But it's tough with the older age groups (fewer clubs and the "top" ones are in ECNL, NPL, DA or EDP). Ithink some of the teams doing all that tri-state driving wouldn't if they could find better in state competition.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
