Cedar Stars Academy – Bergen South Hackensack, N.J.
    Salvo SC Egan, Minn.
    SJEB Rush Marlton, N.J.

Release said takes to a total of 71 clubs, up from last year by a few, but not sure if it is taking into account of NYFC.

For a frame of reference, their "initial" list had 74 clubs in summer 2016.

What's missing is any shred of brain particle in your empty skull.

There is no such thing as an 'ECNL' team in Oregon.

All we have our local club teams & HS teams for boys and girls

ECNL is the acronym for US Club league, not any team you idiot.

You go by the name of your club and the nickname you give your club team.

Most clubs have their teams play in multiple leagues so it's foolish if you tried to name your team after a kiddo girls league. Thanks for the proof of your perpetual stupidity and misunderstanding of reality.

Jesuit HS is considering new team nicknames for 2019

        Jesuit "Metro" &

        Jesuit "OSAA"

        had enough with the Crusaders?

In order to maintain the highest levels you can't grow your club membership and still sustain the best of the best environment.

US Club forgot about that after the 2017 Rapture and now are left with a sea of diluted clubs

You are right. Only a small portion of kids get to play on the thorns Academy.

Majority of the top players ignore them and don’t want to play for them because it’s all smoke and mirrors.

Why do you think they have everyones b team players?

Thorns teams have some B team players and bench players from 2nd division. Maybe the playing time guarantee was the draw?

Very few elite players I have heard are interested. They don't have to sacrifice anything.

Nobody can document seeing an 'elite' player at any Oregon club. How can any 'elite' player be interested in moving up to a DA level if clubs have pay to travel crap? Seriously.

Isn't thorns like four thousand dollars per year now that thorns are being run by westside?

The best players in Oregon played high school soccer this year.

Yes but that’s still cheaper than most of the GDA teams across the country. Thorns is one of a few that help sudsidize. Cost isn’t the limiting factor for most. It’s simply that GDA was late to the game and players simply don’t need to do Thorns Academy because they’ll get to the same place regardless. It’s the player not the patch and good players from Oregon get where they’re going on any of the 3 paths of Ecnl, GDA or OYSA. Pick whichever path your dd likes the best and enjoy.

Yes indeed the 'Best' HS players were the ones cut from DA, most would agree.

Always great to land on your feet after not being chosen for the DA.

Next year the Best HS players will be the ones who played in HS last year since the DA already has the top shelf best of the best playing with them and only a few will fall back to the HS standard. They are pretty safe from being displaced by the remains of HS ball.

This is a really post. "good players from Oregon get where they're going on any of the 3 path"

What is the best path? The answer is simply. OYSA. On average the cost is less than 2,500 per year (that is an expensive year). For argument sake lets say cost is the same till u14 then you have to make a choice.

Cost for four years of club soccer to get to the same place

                            OYSA 10K (2,500 per year)
                            GDA 16K (4,000 per year
                            ECNL 24K (6,000 per year)

You can choose to play club & or HS (Option that works for nearly every kids)

DA is a platform for the specials, which Oregon has very few of, so you sound stupid when you say 'pick' a path. The club path takes everybody. DA only the best of the best.

Cost for 5 years of club soccer to get to the same place?

OYSA/USYS registered clubs/teams roughly around 17.5K total (3,500 per year)

US Club registered clubs/teams roughly around 40K -75K (8-15K per year)

NWSL Thorns & MLS Timbers DA are not part of US Club or USYS, also they aren't a non-profit 501c3 community club.

Two paths for our community players:

                                Local Club or

                                Pro Team DA

If my kid had the chance of course we would choose the Pro team DA based on coaching, level of Opponents, as a boy it's all paid for, for a girl all travel is covered not to mention the direct linkage to the US Youth National teams, Pro club training & of course the constant presence of US Soccer Staff coaches and it's the top tier for youth in this Nation.
