This is a joke right? But would not be surprised after the whole losing Trotters Park ordeal and spreading teams all over Orange and Seminole to practice, heard field availability will be worse next season.

It's not a joke. All of their programs seem to be folding. Their soccer, basketball and football seemed to have vanished and discontinued.
I wonder if they will put out a press release and explain why they are not going to continue on as an organization.

I heard some of the boys are moving next season, talking about ECNL. Don't shoot the messenger but hearing this from inside.
Kind of sad but knew with the loss of Trotters that was going to be a big blow.

This is a bit hard to believe. Our friends son plays on their showcase team and they have heard nothing. I know their big issue is fields.

Ecnl
You can try out for ECNL at FKK or OCYS but does not mean the player will make the team. They already have their established players unless the player stands out or know the coach, etc. Good Luck!

Cant commment on OCYS but we moved our son to FKK's ECNL last year and even with a farther drive we have been completely satisfied with the competition they play, the showcases, the level of players on his team and college exposure. Now some will find some type of negative on ECNL but unless you tryout and see for yourself you should hold your comments.
we are in our second year in ECNL and we have a few boys on team who are not interested in college soccer and you can tell when it comes to commitment level. they do not want to take the extra step that is needed for ECNL. they are good players but when it comes to travel to showcase events or doing anything more that what is required, they do not want to participate. this then effects the whole team.
so be honest, ask your kid and then either go ECNL or stay at a more "local" level of play.
