As for Ives, they are good, but I'm always surprised at how well they actually do at getting results. They don't impress much to watch, but they are in every game. I don't know their coach, but I would think he does a good job to get those results out of the good, but not spectacular, talent on the field.
CES split their top talent during the season and combined them at State Cup, which I think is smart for them. This way you get high level PT for more kids during the season and create massive competition for PT at State Cup without burying kids on the bench in November. That depth is why I think they will win it again.

Like the poster said kids get more pt during the year and compete to be part of an American elite team. Most people would not like that bc you don’t win every game. Juventus creates a competitive environment at 05.

The depth at 2005 at ces is rare only Weston has as much. It’s not like that at other ages within the club.

It only works if you can field teams without a major drop off when you go to your bench. If you have 10 elite players and 20 that can at least play with them, then it is a great idea and a luxury to split the top 10 in half and build out 2 teams fo 15. Then when you put those 10 on the field together (assuming they train or practice together), they are more battle tested as is your bench.

In two games in the state cup juventus has 11 goals for and zero against. Eight more games to go.
