FSA 16 Dad (aka club cheerleader) will be on later when he wakes up to let you know that the margin is razor thin. He’ll also you remind you that by virtue of two ties at Nationals they were undefeated
Let’s look at it more closely. Updated above with scores by game. Draw your own conclusions...
Against MD teams
CFC 4-3-1 11 GF 11 GA (0 GD)
FSA 1-6-1 6 GF 25 GA (-19 GD)
Half the CFC GA was from one U16 loss to Maryland. FSA same aged team lost only by one. But then when both U16 teams played Bethesda, CFC only lost by one and FSA lost by 3. A -19 GD in one weekend is quite an accomplishment.
Sounds like a pre-excuse (made up word) to me. I would expect the better team to win, regardless of tactical formation.
And good one regarding the Barca analogy, I think they’d manage to “break it down” however.
These games are FSA's Super Bowl, doesn't matter if they finish last in the conference, as long as they beat or get a result against CFC they will clamor they are the best of CT

Oh please. JO sat back and played 1 kid off the bench to win the CFC / FSA playoff last year...and that was after rostering 26 kids. Glad the other 14 were there to watch and support the team.
