From the list of clubs committed to EDP you’d have to think Alliance League is B and maybe even some clubs C teams. What’s the point?

Why would Parsippany commit to a closed league with a club that already recruits their best players?

            Impressions from Fall season

Any impressions on the first Fall season? Any news on clubs joining Alliance.
I followed younger EDP age groups and there were many blowouts and lopsided games.

The bigger clubs are looking to put the smaller clubs totally out if business by grabbing all the talent

Making Nj academy teams and town teams and nothing in the middle. Why would you pay top $ to play on a b or c team for sta match fit or csa when they play against your town team or coops or stallions teams.

So this is the way for them to eliminate that problem. If you don’t play them you think your child is a higher level player and gives you hope that the have a shot at the top teams and most importantly they can charge you top because you are wearing their crest
                  $

                  Ecnl and da top leagues

Alliance national league edp and encrl are all the same after that.

How can Alliance and ECNL RL be the same when ECNL RL are the B teams and Alliance is C+D or if you are Cedar Stars anything but Monmouth or Bergen A+B? I would say ECNL RL is slightly ahead of National League if your team travels to the better showcases then EDP Div 2+3 then Alliance League. But you are correct....New leagues with only academy teams only serve to separate lower level teams based on name and not ability.

according to the YSR MF currently has the best team playing NL, and then ECNL and then ECNLR. The expected goal advantage differential between NL and ECNLR teams would be around 2.

You are correct that MFA team that plays NL is indeed their best team certainly better than the EXNL team. Confusing but true....

Alliance is more geared towards younger teams

Ecrl is the north east npl with new name. Quality schools are not coming to their games and the sane can be said for National league

Don’t waste your time and money

Agreed, Alliance is just a $ grab that certainly is well below ECNL in terms of level of play and exposure. But as long as people pay the show goes on.

Incidentally, YSR also has a NL team as #1 in US right now at U17 girls.

                                😂

That’s why the big time college coaches aren’t coming to watch the nl

                                Every once in
A while there will be a non ecnl team or non da team that is very good.

Unfortunately for you they are not in nj

                                Lol
