It goes even further. That land was donated to the county as part of the agreement to allow a new community to be built. When these new neighborhoods are built they have to donate a certain amount of mixed use (open field for soccer or lax) or dedicated (baseball, basketball, etc) park space. There are 4 full sized soccer fields coming online as part of the Rivertown development.

Armada already has the contract for those new Rivertown fields coming. Partnership with Clay.

You are so funny and stupid the county has already made it clear in a meeting with CAA, St. Augustine and FESA these fields are off limit for the next 18 months to organized play now go back in your hole

Go do the math you fidiot. What do you think the value of the land is and how much would that costs FESA per month if they were a private company? Regardless, whatever increases the county put in place, it is still a drop in the bucket compared to what the land value and true costs would be to a private, for-entity using it. Fact is FESA is not a private company paying full market value so don't use the excuse that Bubb should make 200K per year as if the financials of FESA was not subsidized not to mention tax-exempt. Fail!

Get over it. Same argument with churches. Churches occupy prime real estate, pay no taxes and pay that pastor you worship with every Sunday a six-figure salary. Same-difference, it's just that some people want to worship with Bubb.

Help me out since you are so knowledgeable. What is the value of land that is zoned as open space? What is the value of land that is designated wetlands? Help me out here because if something is zoned as protected land my thought is the value isn't very high if you aren't allowed to build anything on it.

I'm not sure you can explain things any more clearly...but yet one Armidiot will still argue.

Perfect. Bubb with the "selling swampland" approach and excuse. Very appropriate.

                          Refunds

When will FESA own up to it and announce no more soccer until the fall if we are lucky? Refunds should be coming asap. If the club was smart and not greedy-grubby, they would shut down and preserve cash until they can come back. They will need the money to start back up again. In the meantime, Bubb can get a job selling used cars where he can dazzle, BS, and bully customers into submission. He would be very good at that. All FESA members who buy car from Bubb get a 1% discount and a used volt jockstrap (or facemask) as a prize.

You Armada trolls are funny. Trying to troll FESA for using a public park. Think about that. You morons use Patton Park (owned by COJ) and Davis....same situation as Veterans. Every single one of your arguments can be directed right back to you. It's a public park where the kids can go play. What's so hard to understand about that? If the parents weren't *******s Armada could likely get some FESA kids but your heads are so far up your ass it's funny.

FESA is not issuing refunds yet and neither is Armada or Clay County the season has not been cancelled by FYSA
