What’s wrong with asking for volunteers? My daughters local town travel team does that on a regular basis and I help out all the time. So if this clubs parents enjoy volunteering than what’s the problem

Volunteers are wonderful when they are selfless and have the best interest of the organization and participants at heart. Sadly some have personal agendas, either to benefit their own kids or personal power plays. All it takes is a few bad apples and it goes to crap

First off, why is a "high level" club using portable generators for lights in the first place. For the money we spend on tuition you would think the club could afford proper facilities. Not to mention its bad for the environment.
