Crossfire United ECNL have some of the worst teams in the country

The parents and ECNL coaches sure liked to hammer the Thorns but now that Crossfire has been exposed in FL, where are they? Isn't it about time we start debating Thorns vs ECNL recruits?

Thorns intern working overtime this morning. I guess the news that Crossfire United is the highest ranked club in Oregon (according to Soccer Wire's top 100 list) hit hard.

Rankings that may be of interest:

      26. Crossfire Premier
      47. Washington Premier
      48. Crossfire United
      59. Reign Academy

      Not ranked: Thorns Academy

A long way from "top 20 club", though. And how will the loss of KL affect them?

This post is why TS never fails to disappoint.

"KL is the Devil! He is ruining CU."

(CU has teams ranked in top 20 in the country and as a club is ranked 48 - higher than every other Oregon club including Thorns and FCP)

"Well fine but it's not like they're 'top 20' though...and losing KL will affect them."

LOLZ. Your bias is showing. Again.

LOL Soccer Wire as your source?

"As a reminder, the database we use for these rankings is a completely open system. Anyone can enter results for their league or tournament games – even if that league or tournament are not yet entered. "

CU is a top 20 ECNL Club as stated earlier. If you do not agree with that ranking; take it up with ECNL.

FYI, when Tom left CU it was a dumpsterfire... Nice work CU!!!!

Just saw XFP has 24 girls rostered in their team. Nice job United.

Terrible sportsmanship to run up the score like that.

If you're concerned about the ethics of running up the score you should check this out

6 of the 03s for XF play up for league play. You will see the whole team at Nationals.

.....side note, XF ECNLs girls do not pay a dime!! hehe.

This makes no sense. Are you saying they played with their 03s that play up and lost 0-8? I thought you can only roster 18. So 6 players don’t get to play every game?
