    Yes, but teams train together over the winter. In this situation, it would literally be heading into the first weekend of games with no team training.

      Agree they need to do this, but even if everyone did a full hardcore fitness regimen on their own (unlikely), they are still missing team training and actual game-fitness.

          Everyone is in the same boat. I would encourage all the players to stay as sharp as possible. At some point thy will get out on the field again.

            Some gyms are closing as well so that's out. And face it, plenty of kids aren't highly motivated to work out on their own.

              So have them sit in front of the TV if all you can do is make excuses. Why are you so helpless?

              When it is time to go back out and play, some will be in shape and some will not. It is your players choice to pick a category.

                Says who? My kid's club is evaluating things on a weekly basis, probably be down for the next few weeks because of the mass hysteria, but then who knows. There will definitely be a ban/limit imposed on domestic travel-probably next week, so that may influence things. But cancelling June/July events seems a bit premature.
