I do wonder a bit about these teams that have a YNT player or two on them. I can't imagine that it would mean that all 18 players on the roster are anywhere near YNT-quality, but just the 1-2 surrounded by 16 decent/good players, right? For the GDA, does this translate into the club trying to elevate the development of all 18 players? Or are they motivated to really focus on the YNT players to increase the chances of their getting call-ups and the remaining 16 players don't get as much development opportunities?

A TX boys team is leaving also but that's driven by a MLS club opening up in their backyard. Rumor is BDA expands the MLS/B team spilt they already have for U19 teams now. If you're an ok player at a B club it starts to become a lot less appealing.

Is this the end of NYSC? BDA and GDA coming to an end. How will they charge $5K+ and not have an ELITE League to play in?
