Seriously if it's not part of US Soccer National Teams structure, what the heck is an off brand labeled ID?

Celebrating nothing and hoarding toilet paper. Portlandia.

This was a US soccer camp, not something like ODP or US Club's id2 program. Last year three local U14s (Javier Blas, Luke Yannello, and Yojany Espiritu) got invited. Whether any of these kids will earn a callup to an actual NT camp (this is just an ID camp) remains to be seen.

Since this is positive news, and since the players are mentioned by name in US Soccer press releases, I'm dispensing with the usual practice of using initials (as if we don't all know who they are).

Don't be grumpy . . .and plenty of folks are hoarding toilet paper. Alabama was on full on melt down mode, so quit blaming the liberals for the perceived irrationality.

Congratulations to all the Oregon boys!

Not part of any Alabama melt down, but is this (ID thing) an actual US Soccer National team identification? or as the posters have made reference to some ambiguously crafted and non descriptive "ID" moniker used by a 3rd party soccer consortium, who have no part of US Soccer proper. Please share your TP btw.

The one's hoarding toilet paper are the smart ones. I have been stranded for two weeks without TP. I have just been using the same old sock. It's not ideal.

This ID camp and the sock referred to above both make me suspicious.

And where are all 3 now- still toiling away for the SH1t show that is u15 TA- don’t fool yourselves, none of those 3 have the requisite combination of skill, athleticism and pace to be relevant on a national level and will never be called to an actual national camp. they were purely invited as a token gesture to “save face” for the timbers and Oregon as a whole. However, a couple of the 06’s invited actually have a chance if they continue on their path

No they won't -- TA system (well, no system at all, they just replace average players from OR with average players from out of state) will screw them up
