How would I know what??
That big clubs that ALREADY offer 3 plus levels of soccer for boys and girls can do both ECNL and DA?
Like many big clubs that AREADY have boys DA and have their lower teams playing in USYS regional leagues?
Or girls clubs that ALREADY have ECNL and also have good NPL teams along with having teams playing USYS?
It's being done now; so why is this one a tough for people to grasp?

lol, OC didn't post they have DA on this site.
However they will get a female DA if the DA happens in 2017. As for now they have the ECNL which is great for female players.
OC are the only club that helps to reduce the costs of playing ECNL. No other club helps with ECNL costs.
All female pro clubs will make an effort to have a female DA program, however very few will be able to fund a DA program unless US Soccer kicks in and I doubt they will. OC are moving in the right direction.

Therefore, ECNL is the kink to OC's plans of having both ECNL and DA as ECNL can take away club's membership to league as it is not OC's right to be in league as it is based in invitation. However, OC based on prior history would likely involve lawyers to try to get their way.

All the top ECNL clubs will get DA. So top clubs like PDA, Slammers, Continental and Surf will offer both and those are the clubs that started the ECNL. If DA happens there won't be an issue with having both. OC is big enough to support both and offer a level that matches the players needs. DA and ECNL have already come out and said they will work together as they have been doing since the start of the Red Bull league and then ECNL. This is a positive thing for FL.

But you just can't help yourselves. You will keep sprinkling that magic OC pixie dust on your members, promising this fairy tale will come true. How many will keep drinking that purple kool-aid when the truth comes out?

Snake oil at its finest.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNo offense but purple players would get crushed in ECNL and that is even, after, the ECNL gets watered down due to girls DA.
ECNL doesn't want a repeat of the Boca United experience. Boca was awarded ECNL this year, but the teams are basically the same as last year's NPL teams. They are getting killed by ECNL teams in nearly every game. It's a huge embarrassment to the league, and the last thing they want is the same thing happening at OC.

If U.S. Soccer opts to bring its array of resources to bear on a youth league that looks like the ECNL model, that presents players with a choice that will inevitably leave one league in the lurch over time. That would essentially pit U.S. Soccer’s resources against the ECNL’s already established reach in its communities."
That doesn't sound like working together. That sounds more like there are significant problems to overcome. You just proved my point, not yours.
