These same big clubs have ECNL, NPL and USYS.

ECNL will continue to be a quality place to girls players as many will skip DA to play high school soccer.

Many of the directors are involved in the US National program and run ECNL clubs. Some also helped to start the ECNL. There is no issue between ECNL and DA.
More propaganda from the OC PR machine. As another poster pointed out, this is simply not knowable yet. But that doesn't stop them from sprinkling the OC fairy dust over the adoring masses. Why bother waiting for actual facts? LOL

      How would I know what??

That big clubs that ALREADY offer 3 plus levels of soccer for boys and girls can do both ECNL and DA?

Like many big clubs that AREADY have boys DA and have their lower teams playing in USYS regional leagues?

Or girls clubs that ALREADY have ECNL and also have good NPL teams along with having teams playing USYS?

It's being done now; so why is this one a tough for people to grasp?

then why did they leak the DA announcement and then not make the announcement. What is the problem?

lol, OC didn't post they have DA on this site.

However they will get a female DA if the DA happens in 2017. As for now they have the ECNL which is great for female players.

OC are the only club that helps to reduce the costs of playing ECNL. No other club helps with ECNL costs.

All female pro clubs will make an effort to have a female DA program, however very few will be able to fund a DA program unless US Soccer kicks in and I doubt they will. OC are moving in the right direction.

One problem would be that ECNL does not want to be considered second tier to anybody as it could then no longer claim to be the premiere league for girls and take away some of it's prestige. Therefore, ECNL is the kink to OC's plans of having both ECNL and DA as ECNL can take away club's membership to league as it is not OC's right to be in league as it is based in invitation. However, OC based on prior history would likely involve lawyers to try to get their way.

Wondered how long it would take for FKK spin machine to start. You will never have ECNL or Girls DA end of story. I know it still eats you up everyday but Orlando City will be the only club in central Florida with elite leagues. Keep spinning though its entertaining watching you in full panic mode.

All the top ECNL clubs will get DA. So top clubs like PDA, Slammers, Continental and Surf will offer both and those are the clubs that started the ECNL. If DA happens there won't be an issue with having both. OC is big enough to support both and offer a level that matches the players needs. DA and ECNL have already come out and said they will work together as they have been doing since the start of the Red Bull league and then ECNL. This is a positive thing for FL.

Are you saying that because OC already has both ECNL and NPL on the girls' side, that it will be OK to have girls' DA too? Are you just assuming that or do you actually have an OK from ECNL? Yeah, that's what I thought. It's turning out to be a bit of a problem isn't it?

But you just can't help yourselves. You will keep sprinkling that magic OC pixie dust on your members, promising this fairy tale will come true. How many will keep drinking that purple kool-aid when the truth comes out?

Please provide a link where "DA and ECNL have already come out and said they will work together". Or is that on the same website with the official announcement about Orlando City getting girls DA, LOL

This is one reason ECNL will never allow Orlando City to have both ECNL and girls DA. The former purple team would get nice new ECNL patches and promptly have their butts handed to them in every game.

ECNL doesn't want a repeat of the Boca United experience. Boca was awarded ECNL this year, but the teams are basically the same as last year's NPL teams. They are getting killed by ECNL teams in nearly every game. It's a huge embarrassment to the league, and the last thing they want is the same thing happening at OC.

The certainly are not going to give to FKK, so dreaming like you do every year.

Is this where you claim the "DA and ECNL have already come out and said they will work together"?? You only read the title, didn't you? If you actually read the article, you will find this:

"As far as the ECNL is concerned, the issue of redundancy is particularly problematic. If U.S. Soccer opts to bring its array of resources to bear on a youth league that looks like the ECNL model, that presents players with a choice that will inevitably leave one league in the lurch over time. That would essentially pit U.S. Soccer’s resources against the ECNL’s already established reach in its communities."

That doesn't sound like working together. That sounds more like there are significant problems to overcome. You just proved my point, not yours.

Soon Orlando City will be the Mecca for girls. Orlando Pride NWSL with elite youth girls DA and ECNL. What a great opportunity for central Florida players.
