Yes, they'll be fine in RCL div 3 which is where they will be placed.

A 'program' (baby da) that let's you follow the yellow brick road, when it ends you are still in Oregon and the 3 year journey was just a bad dream. Upon completion you again find yourself with the same lame coaches and still playing the same local OYSA clubs for giggles. The only difference is the sacred Patch has been stripped away.. Going in circles to nowhere is what it's all about and you are left scratching your head. W T F

No Portland Timbers 04 DA? Or is this the non DA teams for clubs listed with exception of Washington Timbers DA competing is RCL?

US Soccer doesn't care about RCL. Little DA is only 2005 and younger next year. 2004's that haven't moved to Timbers / Sounders / Xfire DA are falling back to RCL for next fall.

Fully understanding this pathetic reality, please post the list of goal scorers. Thanks.

Yes. The RCL is adopting USSDA guidelines. One game per week. WSYSA is going to name their state champions by whoever wins the 26 game RCL League. This will be U15-19.

Keep in mind the OP’s list of teams in the U15 RCL this coming fall would all win the OTSA League. Seattle market is much deeper than out here in Oregon. Whe 44 players are taken out of the Seattle market to fill Crossfire and Sounders rosters there are still enough players out there to create a very high level league. In Oregon the Timbers don’t even have the top players in their Academy so the leagues down here aren’t as bad as they should be. The OYSA Premier League is still no where near the depth and quality of RCL

                  Any truth to this?

Did you really just come to the realization that the Seattle metro area has more talent than dinky Portland? Also Seattle is to our north and located in another State. Timbers DA have the top players they want, does it impact the depth and quality of older boys & girls ages absolutely, even when they get a few wrong. What really dilutes Oregon is so many money grubbing idiots forming 'clubs' and diluting a once shallow pond of talent into pure pond scum.

Nope. I was explaining something to another poster that didn’t understand the landscape. Maybe that was you? 😉

How long until this is announced? I can very much understand why they did this, but can't imagine there's just going to be zero in its place.

Whether this is true or not is unknown--but there was only a U13 (05) team this year because there was a rich guy willing to fund it. Timbers have long run U14, and Draco Malfoy doesn't have a little brother that I'm aware of.

It is not the DA that is the problem, the concept is actually great if executed properly. Here, the system does not work due to the Timbers and their lack of desire and ethics. When done correctly, it should lead to the top players (who want to focus on soccer and forego highschool sports) from each of these local DA teams being brought together at TA and possibly a second or third option (see Seattle area for example) if the market warrants at u15 and beyond and continue to narrow the field beyond that

Sorry, the post you replied to had nothing to do with the MLS Timbers DA. It was a narrative describing what some call the OYSA baby/little DA and how it’s complete joke.

The MLS Timbers are in the business of making, future pros from a pool of players recruited from Oregon and the Nation. This challenge is not unique as all MLS Clubs have this challenge and responsibility.
