This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I can not believe how dumb some Fishhawk parents are. These people have good jobs and nice homes but can't seem to add 2 +2 when it comes to soccer. I understand having pride in your club but wow. The poster above was correct. Your club has not added one thing to the soccer landscape. Nobody knows about you and nobody really cares. How many players from Fishhawk soccer club have made the ODP teams? I know of just one that came close and it was this year. That is one player in 6 years. My kid has 6 on their team alone! Fishhawk you are so far behind! They have to, because if they cut players and ask them to tryout for CDL and USA teams the players will go to another club, WFF will not take the chance of losing revenue. not going to happen. But I am sure you are wishing so. Clubs like FH should wise up and merge with WFF. WFF has 2 CDL slots in each age group. Their A teams might be able to finally play in a good league considering the Chargers never let them have access to any good leagues. On top of that, their best players might actually have a shot at getting good training which just might result in players that are developed enough to reach some reasonable goals. I am not talking about simple goals like wearing powder blue ribbons in your hair or making 500.00 at the 7-11 carwash or even maybe playing for Randall MS as a sub in your 8th grade year. FH is basically the WFF farm club and quite frankly has yet to put a kid on an ECNL team. Has a FH "charger" even made the Newsome HS team yet? Most of the fishhawk u13g "A" team was at the ID camp and sorry to say but not impressed. Doubt if any would take a spot from any u13 already at Brandon. There are enough playing up to fill the spots. Remembered a few from last year (and the dads) and not much has changed in a year.
