I recommend that if FC Portland ECNL come back to OYSA they try their hand at the President's Cup. They might not win, but still it will be fun.

I especially love that FC Portland ECNL dad is still on here despite no really good reason to be.

He gets riled up when people remind everyone that FC ECNL 2001 finished fourth in oysa and then lashes out. Sometimes probing with digs at various teams he thinks are behind the "attacks". Have to laugh. Far to simplistic in his thinking. You gotta think harder. The first question is why. Solve that and you are 80% of the way there.

The should at least make it to the semifinals. Actually if they got fourth in State Cup, they should be a shoe-in to make the finals in President's Cup. Might even win.

Truth. The last time FCP played OYSA, they went to the championship game at State Cup and lost to Salem. Beat Salem in NWCL tho. Wash Timbers also one of the top teams in the age range. All three FC Ecnl, Salem & Wash have many of the same players from 3, 4 years ago and all are still good players. Why a troll keeps bringing up ancient soccer history is most telling of his own issues though.

Going to the state cup championship back when there was no ecnl or gda was pretty good. Fcp ECNL team must be doing even better now for trolls to have to reach back 4 years ago and lie about those results too. Fcp did better than everyone but Cfc that year, including beating cfc more times than they lost to them.

The Thorns Academy is backed by the National Champion NWSL team. You get to train at the big park. Professional players on the staff. Travel costs are much less. You just cannot beat the professional environment. Choose wisely.
