There is a U23 team mandate set by MLS that starts this next season. I just don't think they have anything released yet for general information or in terms of press release.

It is suppose to start the same time as MLS. It was pitched that the U23's would play before the first team or during the same weekend/week so they would travel together.

MLS teams lost too much money from Covid that majority of them don't want to fund a u23 team in the Spring. Most likely won't happen until following season.

They already had funding set aside for it, it is happening still.

After U15 there should only be 4 teams in the entire state that way the teams are more competitive.
