NCAA needs to make sure all of this is equitable especially in each conference. Can't allow some schools back on campus early and not all.
Do you really think the Big East can tell a school what to do...dope

Is anything ever equal? Will NCAA do anything about it?

Some of the self policing has to come from within each of the conferences and it's commissioner and officials.

It seems because of what happened (the abrupt stoppage) NCAA wants the kids to get back as per their school as soon as they can to get them back, phased in properly, training and ready to go.

The conference can set limits or terms. If the school disregards, they can be bounced from conf championship consideration. Otherwise, why follow the rules at all?

International students are allowed in as long as their visas are still valid, which they should be if you have already been a fulltime student. DHS just started a travel ban for Brazil, but you can still travel from other nations as long as you fall into certain categories and that includes international students. Also the US is going to have to ease up in travel restrictions in general soon to help get the economy going. The US economy is internationally intertwined with business, tourism and education. Universities rely on international students in general because they pay full boat.

Many mixed feelings about college athletics returning, especially when much it is driven by big money football

Big East dividing in to two groups this season to bring down travel a bit. Also adding a few new teams.

they should actually consider starting earlier not delay. Reason being is August and September are predicted to be better months in terms of numbers for COVID, but November we are expecting the second wave now.

“fall will be very much like the spring,” and the usual pattern of coronaviruses is likely continue with new transmission peaking in November and cases peaking in December.

Maybe depending on the area and how hard hit, they are not returning. Maybe those kids are second guessing coming over and want to stay closer to home.

International sports students do not pay full boat.

The players have a say. They say no and transfer. Dinner bell is ringing. You show up and eat.
