She got ct gpoy, not national gpoy. She definitely will be better than the kid UConn got last year. For one, she is a cfc player. Two, she is about a foot and a half taller at 5’6. I’m glad she won a lot at glastonbury, because she will be lucky if she finishes her college career at .500. Maybe freshman year as they changed the competition format and they get to play seton hall twice.
She will never see a big East championship game or an ncaa berth.

She has a good chance of starting over the Yankee dud.

That's all they get is CT and MA talent. That's the problem with the program. Cuts to the recruiting budget precludes them from bringing in top players from CA, FL, TX etc. You need to recruit nationally to win.

Nothing to do with a recruiting budget. Success breeds success. Geno gets them to come to Storrs because he has built a winning culture. Fortunately for him, he did it before the old Big East collapsed. Returning to the BE should help Women’s soccer but they need to have some success too. There are very few coaches that can recruit and sell when they don’t have much to sell.

The majority of posters here have kids that won't ever get recruited but yet they are quick to tear down the accomplishments of the handful of kids who earn some great accolades.

Paying full tuition to Endicott College and playing on the soccer team isn't getting recruited.

Over the last 5+ years many state schools had already seen upticks in applications and quality of applicants because of the high cost of private or out of state schools. Economic considerations are obviously much greater now, but there is also a growing interest to stay a little closer to home
