I hate to disagree with you. This post earlier was positive and did lead to good solid information. We always seem to let those Bozos you just referred to paint Massachusetts soccer as the Stars against NEFC when in reality it is the Stars against nearly every other club in the state. The problem is some of those bozos is they just can't accept that other clubs can and will do things the right way and at least try to operate with the kids best interests at heart. There are actually more good caring clubs than not out there who understand what their role is and don't make unreasonable demands of the players and families.

If anyone is interested in learning about NEFC's approach to college recruiting, here is a link to their "College Center" http://www.nefc.us/college. In it you will read about the club's philosophy behind it's recruiting efforts, find resource information about how to approach getting recruited, as well as find a few success stories.

OBAMA: “It does not grant citizenship, or the right to stay here permanently, or offer the same benefits that citizens receive – only Congress can do that. All we’re saying is we’re not going to deport you.”
THE FACTS: He’s saying, and doing, more than that. The changes also will make those covered eligible for work permits, allowing them to be employed in the country legally and compete with citizens and legal residents for better-paying jobs.
OBAMA: “Although this summer, there was a brief spike in unaccompanied children being apprehended at our border, the number of such children is now actually lower than it’s been in nearly two years.”
THE FACTS: The numbers certainly surged this year, but it was more than a “brief spike.” The number of unaccompanied children apprehended at the border has been on the rise since the 2011 budget year. That year about 16,000 children were found crossing the border alone. In 2012, the Border Patrol reported more than 24,000 children, followed by more than 38,800 in 2013. In the last budget year, more than 68,361 children were apprehended.
OBAMA: “Overall, the number of people trying to cross our border illegally is at its lowest level since the 1970s. Those are the facts.”
THE FACTS: Indeed, in the 2014 budget year the Border Patrol made 486,651 arrests of border crossers, among the fewest since the early 1970s. But border arrests have been on the rise since 2011.The decline in crossings is not purely, or perhaps even primarily, due to the Obama administration. The deep economic recession early in his presidency and the shaky aftermath made the U.S. a less attractive place to come for work. The increase in arrests since 2011 also can be traced in part to the economy — as the recovery improved, more people came in search of opportunity.
OBAMA: “When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system. And I began by doing what I could to secure our borders.”
THE FACTS: He overlooked the fact that he promised as a candidate for president in 2008 to have an immigration bill during his first year in office and move forward on it quickly. He never kept that promise to the Latino community.

Must have been a long 6 years for you, with 2 to go, but relief is on the way. I'm sure you will enjoy 8 years of Hilary.

Not the least bit worried about Hillary. The media isn't going to cover her a * * they way they did Obama's because many in the media can't stand her either.

"ABC News*has obtained leaked*emails*and a secret email list containing the names of*Hillary Clinton*operatives, known as the "Mook Mafia." The list is named for Robby Mook, who has worked on various Democratic campaigns and has been mentioned as a possible campaign manager for Clinton in 2016. The email list was also maintained with Marlon Marshal, now an Obama White House aide. It went out to about 150 campaign and political operatives, according to ABC. Contents of the eye-opening emails were published yesterday by ABC, and may give voters an insight into the dirty*2016 presidential campaign*Clinton intends to run."

Meanwhile, Dems think the've got a lock on the Hispanic vote, unions are bailing on them.

Terry O'Sullivan, president of the 500,000-member Laborers' International Union of North America: ""Today’s failure of the U.S. Senate to authorize the Keystone XL pipeline is a vote against all construction workers, a vote to keep good, middle-class jobs locked out of reach and a vote to continue to rely on nations that hate America for our energy....41 Senate Democrats cowardly stepped in line, throwing one of their own colleagues, Sen. Mary Landrieu, along with hard-working blue-collar construction workers, under the bus. For every action, there’s a reaction, and our members’ reaction will be felt in the next election."*

O’Sullivan went on to say the Democrats who voted against the pipeline, “took food off the table of our members, and we don’t take that lightly.”He then vowed “to assess from top to bottom who we give to, what we give.”

“Every president has to speak for their own membership,” O’Sullivan added. “Our membership is repulsed and disgusted.”

          Latest Gallup poll
          Republican favorability: 42%
          Democrats favorability: 37%

And it's only going to get worse for Democrats.

Let's not even get into what big advocates of immigration reform like Zukerberg are really angling for. He wants more H1 visas in order to drop labor costs in the technology sector. We need jobs in this country and those are great paying jobs. Why in the world would you bring in immigrants who will work for peanuts to take those jobs instead of training our own population (whether here legally or illegally) to do them?

As for your endless cheerleading comment, when your team/club wins one, come back on here and you can thump your chest all you want. biiter much?

Could have been a lot worse. Hit the post a couple of times and missed some decent chances. NEFC all over Stars. U17s tied 1-1 but NEFC dominated play. It was predicted a couple of years ago that NEFC would catch Stars and at this rate, they're as good a club if not better. That's what happens when you have a good business model and intelligent people running the club.

Stars clearly on the downhill swing, at least they have a new field to play with

NEFC should get the ECNL spot, SSS should get the NPL spot, and Stars should be moved down to Maple. That would be hilarious and cruel at the same time

Wow, NEFC is the new top dog. Only question now is who takes #2-#4 spots. Did Stars slip to #2 or further?
