By far one of the most successful coaches in his field, he does his job, but he's a bad example? Coach K and other highly successful coaches also aren't know for being softies either. But it's that drive to be the best that drives their success and draws players that want to play for them. Their style isn't for everyone. Yet at the same time if they were truly terrible human beings they wouldn't be able to recruit either. There's a big difference between tough and expecting 110% every day, vs just being a di*k.

DB will join FSA alum MA at Seton Hall next year. MA started in all 17 games last season as a freshman and made the Big East All-Freshman team. Seton Hall will benefit from another strong player from CT.

Geno doesn't like the showcase trend, thinks it isn't good for the athletes . Points the finger at parents. So it would make sense that the Showcase parent crowd wouldn't agree with him.

Snowflakes. They don't like to be called out on their enabling behavior.

GDA won't change that BTW.It's a societal issue that transcends sports

Yes he is a bad example- in his system you are given nothing ,you earn everything. he gets great HS players and breaks them down to raw talent then builds them into basketball players. I never said he was a terrible human or a Dick , he is a great motivator and coach and expects 110% buy-in from everyone or you're out (drink the koolaid)- his record and the fact that his player respect him years after they grad is his legacy

he may not like it but he uses it - he can get any player he wants but he wants more players then he can take -it is showcases and getting to know the kids that determine his interest

Yeah and they had an impressive 5 wins!

Lackluster, if you ask me. Every FSA team knows it's supposed to lose all its games, so the kids can develop. There's no development in winning. Five wins are five opportunities for development that are flushed down the drain. Very sad.

As for them "breaking up", are you nuts? They are combining with the 2001's who by the way are excellent. The team is going to be better next year. Get in the know or shut up.
I know of 4 going to CFC ECNL. Not sure their exact ages, but u15 is most likely as they are freshmen in high school. I'm sure FSA is also getting a few. 1 player leaving for ECNL is not an accurate statement. You shall see

Yeah, 2 that started high school varsity as freshmen for good high school programs this fall and didn't want to give it up. Not sure about the other 2. That was expected. Overall, the number of girls committing to GDA are good considering so many didn't get waivers. Oakwood isn't worried

Oakwood shouldn't be worried. Look st the clubs in the DA. NYCFC has 1 in westchester and 1 on Long Island. Neither of which are present clubs. Cedar Stars and Pa. classics have teams but they stink. PDA and Stars will be interesting to see where girls decide to play. Syracuse is average at best. Washington Spirit has 2 teams that are brand new. Penn Fusion will be top club by far.

This is good to know. Seton Hall had lots of underclassmen starters last year and are losing only three seniors who got a lot of playing time. The Pirates will be in a good position to improve their record this year.

1-8 in their conf last year. All those years of losing at Fsa and soccer plus has made those kids perfect fits for seton hall. You forgot LH as well from Fsa who didn't crack the starting line up for the pirates.
As a frosh or soph. She was top 150 top drawer in her class when she graduated. Think about that. One time all state player. Let's do the math. 50 states would make her top 3 in a state on average. Not even close. That's why top drawer is a joke and a waste of money. Pay some Westport money and you are top 150.
