It really all comes down to what the expectations are.
Don't think their goal is to put out top level premier teams. They are small, no ECNL, and no Timber's Alliance. They are an independent club that fills a niche for the people living in the area. They have never had great high school aged teams.

There's nothing wrong with a club that occupies a niche between rec and elite--I wish more clubs would openly occupy that niche, actually. (Which would include referring elite players they encounter to the elite clubs--and possibly being compensated in such fashion by the elite clubs for the referral).

        Nada.
The consistently send their top players to the Portland Timbers DA, the Portland Thorns and ECNL. There is a reason why Vantucky Timber players are such a hot commodity.

As a parent I see nothing wrong with a club purposefully moving kids to the next level.

Is there an elite club in the area?

That reason has nothing to do with how well they were developed at WashT, that's for sure. Every one of the kids that leaves WashT has to be almost completely retrained from the ground up.

That's only because all the top players at that age have gone to ECNL. So you're in the top division of a tier-3 league. Big whoop!

Seriously, that is a garbage comment. Who are you and what do you know about training? You must either be a coach trying to recruit or a parent with an over optimistic opinion of your knowledge. Either way it is garbage. My DD is not at WT_FC, but I can recognize a sales pitch when I see one.

You're a complete moron if you think all the top players are doing ecnl. Don't you know ecnl stands for Every Check Needed League? Sure there's some good quality players doing it but there's also a large amount of over-privileged rich brats playing as well

That is unless you haven't updated your website.
Salmon creek has two teams in their club. The G'00's and the '98's. Every other team constantly complains how they are second fiddle to the '00's. Yes, we hear about it all the way over here.

How many practices has TE or JF ran for other teams in the club. The answer is zero!
They don't care about the development of players or coaches. It's a business built to feed TE's family and get their DD's through the pipeline. None of which helps soccer in this community, only the selected few that they choose. It's very sad

She is the coach at Kingsway Christian School. She grew up playing the game and now gets to makes a living doing it . So I would say she's doing something right

That says a lot for the Oregon players. Vantucky players consistency taking Oregon girls spots and they still need a lot of work. Lol

Most would disagree with you but you are blinded by the word 'Elite'. At least you can tell your pals and family that she is elite but you can't fool the people that actually understand.
