Actually, most of that list are clubs in the bottom half of the ECNL. Still great clubs, with teams that could smoke the best Timbers teams 10-0 any day, but still, not the very top clubs.

Real bottom feeders like SoCal Blues, FC Dallas, Crossfire Premier, De Anza Force, SD Surf, etc. So who are the top teams not listed? Your post sounds desperate.

A quick look - only PDA and CASL are missing.... but that's it.

Looks like all of the others in the top flight of the ECNL tournament are there.

        How accurate could list be?

I think he said "most", not "all". Maybe a remedial reading class at Gresham HS so you can get your Grade 10, like your hero Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys.

Not accurate at all. None of the top ECNL clubs are going anywhere.

                this is completely accurate.

FCPDX applied for the DA also. Not because they want to do the DA but because they wanted to cover their bases just in case. That right there shows a lot.

                I don't know about CU

You are correct, none of the TOP clubs are going anywhere, they are keeping their geographic homes, those TOP clubs withing the ECNL have been selected to join a higher standard league. No big deal the TOP clubs will always be relevant, now just in the GDA.

What does this mean for the (2) local Oregon Clubs who are firmly placed in the bottom tier of the Mountain Division of the Northwest Conference of the parent group Elite Clubs National League?

TOP clubs aren't joining the GDA because they know they will lose 90% of their top players if they do so. Only the truly delusional think the GDA is a good idea.

It means they will still be 1000% better than all of the Timbers clubs combined. Hands down. No dispute there.

I find it amusing that someone things GDA will be a top level program for girls soccer.
The poster suggesting that it's a Thorns Academy or Timbers Alliance troll could be right, though, it's just someone throwing out nonsense.

What's more amusing is 2 Oregon Clubs signing up to play in the 2nd/3rd/4th & 5th tier of the ECNL.

US Soccer has instituted th the GDA as the highest level for Girls in the U.S. Let them know you think that is Funny, maybe they will share a laugh with you, or more precisely a laugh at your expense.

No, what's amusing is Thorns Academy billing itself as the destination club for all of the "elite" players in Oregon - and then playing in OYSA and Beaverton Cup. Now that's rich!!!

GDA is a joke and won't ever get off the ground. There is no support for it from the top clubs. It'll be lower level than OYSA Premier if it ever gets going at all.

There is nothing in my post implying "all". As a matter of fact, I asked which top teams weren't on the list.

                              This is FC defensiveness:
                              1. Go after the language instead of the message. (Even if you are wrong regarding the use of language)
                              2. Throw in a little trailer park joke.
                              3. Repeat as necessary.

Speaking of remedial, make sure you proof read the original post as well as your own next time. I helped you complete your second sentence with a couple ideas.

I hope this list is correct (although I highly doubt it because no info has been formally released and I very much doubt DA insiders are posting confidential info on this chat board). But if it is true it's the end of Thorns academy. They have no prayer of getting into a DA if all those clubs go DA. And without DA, Thorns academy is done. Which is very good for girls soccer in Oregon - the truly elite players can play ECNL and the filler that Thorns took to puff out those rosters at 27 can go back to their hometown clubs which they had no business leaving in the first place.
