Sucks that the girls have to pay all those thousands of dollars just to play in OYSA. Hopefully they are not going to play in the Silver bracket at the Vegas Cup again, that was pretty demeaning.

They will play in the OYSA which doesn't cost the Timbers anything. They don't have admin costs like most clubs do. So they are probably raising $40,000 from the girls they can apply toward the boys travel expenses. It works out well for the Timbers and allows the boys to play and travel for free.

I think these are legitimate questions.
Why are they playing in OYSA and very low level tournaments?
Why do they have to pay club fees and travel costs when the boys are free?
