No--I think someone said kids play on cement and dirt and feel privileged to play on grass---I think that's a direct reference to Harmony. Essentially you drive over the moon to get to either a cement or dirt field.

True, that's why everyone knows that WashT and Eastside, although very large clubs, always have very low skilled teams. FC, on the other hand, has always had the top quality, and now they have both top quality and top quantity. Sucks to be a Timbers club.

FC has dropped off in quality. Minimal skill. Not sure what you are watching. Especially at the younger boys ages, U10 through U14. We always mark that game with a 'W'. Eastside, Westside, Wa Timbers, on and on are better. That's not a good sign for the health of a club.

Take away ECNL and FC would be just another club. WashT and Eastside and other clubs have become feeder clubs to FC PDX ECNL and Crossfire ECNL only because of a higher opportunity to compete (ECNL).

Go ahead and toot the FC PDX horn now why you can. Soccer has evolved so much in the last five years, and will be very different in five years from now.

Just another innovative business. The club that stays up on all the new opportunities will stay on top. Who wants the same old same old.

WashT barely added any players this year. Especially on the girls side, there was further erosion. Truth is there are no good clubs in Clark county so the top kids always go across the river to play. Always.

Re-read I said boys dumbass. crossfire and FC are weak and getting weaker. The big Timbers clubs easily better. We encourage our top girls to move on to ECNL if they think it's a good fit. Your welcome, otherwise your ECNL teams would be pathetic.
